About the Press

"Pravnyk" is a modern web portal of legal science, which unites monographs of Ukrainian scientists from leading publishing houses.

Here you will find fundamental researches that form legal opinion and help scientists, teachers, practicing lawyers and students navigate complex issues of law.

Our goal is to promote, on the principles of open science, the rapid circulation and use of specialized scientific knowledge among interested parties, the integration of national legal science into international research systems, and the development of the Ukrainian state as a legal state, using modern technologies.

The main idea: the web portal was created as a single library of non-periodical monographic publications in the field of law and at the same time as a system of circulation and analysis of scientific information of world standard. It introduces into scientific circulation a full set of metadata of publications and, at the request of the authors, provides open access to the full texts of these works or information on available ways to acquire them.

Target audience: primarily authors of monographs, readers, publishing houses, scientific and educational institutions, who receive certain unique benefits. (More details about them are in the relevant sections of the web portal.)

Terms of access to the web portal: users receive free access to all books and materials published on the web portal, but the placement of these materials is carried out at the expense of the owners of the rights to them and with the preservation of these rights by them.

Project team: the idea of ​​creating a web portal as a unique specialized environment for presenting the thorough work of Ukrainian legal scholars belongs to the editor-in-chief of the Pravo Publishing House, Petro Bilous, who for this purpose gathered a team of enthusiastic specialists from Kharkiv and Kyiv. The economic activity related to the functioning of the web portal is carried out by an individual-entrepreneur Olishevets Alena Oleksandrivna. The general partner and administrator of the project is "Pravo Publishing House LLC" – one of the largest specialized publishing houses of legal literature in Ukraine.
